I am the High School Counselor and therefore have a variety of responsibilities. I meet with every senior one-on-one to discuss their future plans in the fall, then help them navigate the path they have chosen throughout the school year. I check in with them early in the second semester to see if they need any help with anything at that point. I inform and remind seniors about scholarship opportunities throughout the year. I keep track of student's credits and make sure they meet all requirements in order to graduate. I hold Pre-enrollment every spring to inform parents and students about graduation requirements along with all the opportunities the students will have for the next school year. I'm also available to see any student who is struggling with any kind of emotional problem or just has a need they would like to visit about. As the High School Counselor, I try to not only meet the emotional needs of our student body, but make a path for each student to be successful academically.  I also help them navigate that path year by year so that they are prepared to enter college, career tech, or the work force.
